We connected with Jeff to find out more about his business and what he has learned along the way.
How long have you owned your franchise for?
I have owned my franchise for just over five years.
What did you do before joining Modern PURAIR?
Before joining Modern PURAIR, I had spent the previous 30 years working in retail management.

What do you think are the top 3 benefits of being a Modern PURAIR Franchise Partner?
- Pre established systems…..Years of “trial and error” new owners do not need to worry about.
- Branding…We are constantly getting compliments on the sprinter van wraps.
- Helping People and knowing that what we are doing is making a difference in the health of our clients.
What does a typical day in the life look like for you as a franchise owner?
Originally, I did it all including working in the field so there was physical work during the day and clerical in the evenings which made for very long days. I have an Operations Manager now, so my day always starts connecting with her, checking the VentBox to monitor what is happening revenue wise, as well as schedules and anything new on the Modern PURAIR Message Board. I am currently continuing training my operations manager and slowly removing operational tasks off my plate. Marketing and sales strategies and opportunities are a constant. I will still help out in the field from time to time if restoration, construction or commercial opportunities arise that are an emergency.
What is one thing you are doing in your business today that you wish you started doing sooner?
Hiring an operational manager.
What are you most excited about in your business looking forward?
Watching my 5-year plan come into fruition.
What are the top 3 things that you hear from your customers about what they appreciate about the service your company provides?

How is your role in the business today different than it was in your early years if at all?
Today I keep off the trucks as much as possible so I can focus on the business.

Yes, I connect with other franchise partners quite regularly. You can always reach out to ask questions, get opinions or just chat and be there to reciprocate.
